| The most famous of these wrecks is the HMS Thistlegorm, a Royal Navy cargo ship, which sunk in 1941 and lies at a depth of 30m. It jealously guards its cargo of cars, motorbikes, trucks, tanks, Locomotives, wagons, rifles, munitions, torpedoes, aircraft wings and Wellington boots, which are all waiting for your visit. The Abu Nuhas reef to the north of Shadwin with its breakers, is a true underwater cemetery. No less than four wrecks have reposed here for over a hundred years. Abu Nuhas is waiting for you as long as the weather and waves permit. |
